Hyde Park Then and Now

On Monday, September 19, 2011, at 6:30pm in Menino Hall, local historian and author Anthony Sammarco will present an illustrated lecture introducing his new book, Hyde Park Then and Now, which highlights familiar landmarks in Hyde Park and compares old photographs with modern images. Incorporated in 1868, Hyde Park existed as a separate town until its annexation to the city of Boston in 1912, and is made from sections of Dorchester, Milton, and Dedham.

If you can’t attend, don’t miss Mr. Sammarco’s encore presentation of this same lecture on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at 6:30pm, also at the Hyde Park Branch Library.
