Many Styles, Many Voices

Many Styles, Many Voices, An Introduction to Music for Teens is ongoing Saturdays  at 2pm through May 19 in the branch library’s Menino Hall, and started off with well-attended sessions on April 14 (Jazz with Dr. Lewis Porter) and April 21 (Blues with Erin Harpe).   This series is designed to give teens and young adults a brief but comprehensive look at the different styles of music they hear, what makes them unique, and what unites them.  Each presenter is an accomplished musician who will present a 90-minute talk followed by a short concert and Q/A time.

These concerts are free and all ages are welcome.  For more information contact Branch Teen Librarian John Kenney, or Artists-at-Large, Inc., at 617-313-6557.
