Many Styles, Many Voices, An Introduction to Music for Teens is ongoing Saturdays at 2pm through May 19 in the branch library’s Menino Hall, and started off with well-attended sessions on April 14 (Jazz with Dr. Lewis Porter) and April 21 (Blues with Erin Harpe). This series is designed to give teens and young adults a brief but comprehensive look at the different styles of music they hear, what makes them unique, and what unites them. Each presenter is an accomplished musician who will present a 90-minute talk followed by a short concert and Q/A time.
