The Chameleon Arts Ensemble of Boston returns to the Hyde Park Branch Library on Saturday June 2, 2012 at 2pm to perform Tunes, Tales and Tricksters, a free family concert. The Ensemble will fill the afternoon with classical chamber music inspired by stories, poems, conversations, and communications through music. Musical selections include those composed by Strauss, Mozart, Roberto Sierra, Michael Colgrass, and Hans Spencer. Following the concert, drum with the Chameleons and give their instruments a try in the instrument petting zoo!
This concert is part of the Chameleon Arts Education Program, and is an interactive performance to not only introduce classical music, but to make personal connections to music that will enhance enjoyment and spark musical creativity.
