At the branch library on Monday, March 26, 2012, 7p.m., musicologist and lecturer Theresa Neff will present a discussion of the history and composition of St. Matthew’s Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach. Ms. Neff is the 2011-2012 Historically Informed Performance Fellow at the Handel and Hayden Society, and is on the Music History faculty of The Boston Conservatory.
This lecture precedes the scheduled Handel and Hayden Society performances of St. Matthew’s Passion at Boston Symphony Hall on Friday March 30 and Sunday April 1, 2012.
